AIDS  FOR A BETTER ENGLISH CLASS

Teaching aids are the resources used to facilitate the
process Teaching and Learning.
We found that teaching aids are of two kinds:
Teaching media and teaching resources:
The teaching media: they are the materials made with the intention of facilitating teaching and learning processes, such as books or texts of readings, multimedia software, modules and others.
The teaching resources are materials that are used with a more specific didactic purpose. For example, educational games such as lotteries or bingo used to emphasize a particular topic.

Both the media as teaching resources provided explicit information: books, videos, internet and educational software.
Teaching aids generally are able to guide, to instruct and educate students. They help to organize information, to relate knowledge, to have new knowledge and apply it.

Teaching aids are used to develop the skills, capabilities and competencies of the learner, I mean, students have to be exercising.

The helps provide contexts which facilitate observation, exploration and experimentation.

The aids awake the creativity,
the wonder and the research.  In other words, the aids help to motivate the learner, waking him and keep him alive the interest.
Teaching aids evaluate knowledge, skills, abilities and performance.

Teaching aids that teachers used in their English classes facilitate the learning of a second or foreign language. For this, it’s not important the age or level.
Taking in account their origin or characteristics teaching aids can be divided into three groups:
